Rebecca Handy Jewellery established at the start of 2008.

Rebecca started making jewellery as a small child in love with an Indian bead loom! She went on to gain a range of qualifications in the Art and Design field including a Higher National Diploma in Textile Design. Her use of texture, colour, pattern and quality materials within her jewellery designs has been inspired by her background in both textiles and interiors.

Her style has naturally evolved and developed over the years. Rebecca particularly enjoys working with muted and opaque colour palettes with added detail (although she does like a bit of 'bling' in the form of Swarovski crystals) Her favourite finish is the look of aged metal as each hand oxidised jewellery piece tells a story.

Her work is currently inspired by nature themed lino prints and 1950s prints. She is often found chasing a spot of nostalgia and is inspired by Art Deco, the 1940's and favourite movies she watched as a child in the 80s!

You can't beat a treasured, worn and well loved old photo!

Jewellery is designed and made by hand in her West Midlands based studio situated in the heart of the Stourbridge glass making industry.

Her style in three words:

Detailed, statement, eclectic

An odd fact (or 2):

Feared by many jewellers....the colour yellow is the colour for her! 'Happy'

She is addicted to hot chocolate!

Her favourite place:

Carbis Bay / St Ives - Cornwall

Rebecca is a also a published designer and is a regularly featured designer in Beads and Beyond Magazine. She has been awarded 3rd prize for jewellery maker of the year 2012, shortlisted jewellery maker of the year 2010 and awarded finalist for jewellery maker of the year in 2009
